Now that you know we can install on your roof and navigate the red tape, you may be thinking about funding. We have sector specific funding advice for social housing, developers, public and private sector companies available, and we’re more than happy to talk you through any of the options.
An option that appeals broadly is Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs). PPAs mean you can have a system installed on your roof at no upfront cost. Our trusted PPA providers cover this and then sell you back the energy at a rate up to 50% cheaper than the grid.
You’ll get all the benefits of a solar PV system, with none of the hassle, as ongoing maintenance will be covered by our PPA partners as well.
Obtain DNO approvals.
DNO approvals don’t have to be a difficult process – for you! At Carbon3 we will apply for DNO approval on your behalf early in the process to make sure your system will have capacity available.
If you’re looking to export electricity back to the grid, we will let you know how much energy you can safely send without overloading infrastructure. This could provide you additional revenue.
We will also commission your system, keeping it compliant, and provide you with MCS certifications within ten days of installation.

How does it work?
We will support you through the entire process, providing you with one point of contact who will oversee your project. We will conduct detailed surveys, both desktop and at your site. Then, our in-house design team will get to work finding the best products and roof fits for your project.
Our engineers will install your system, overseen by our project managers to ensure health and safety standards are met. We’ll install your system to program, commission, and provide your MCS documents no longer than 10 days post install.
Finally, you can decide to take out an operations and maintenance (O&M) contract with us. Our O&M team focus solely on maintenance projects, so they are able to provide the fastest fault response in the industry.
